Dear Friends,

First, let me thank everyone for all the thoughts and prayers during this disaster. The e mails and phone calls that we got, kept us going. Now as everyone has heard, it appears that the well is now capped. We have no idea what the long term affects on our region will be, but what we do know for a fact is that NO oil reached most of the areas that we fish. There are some areas that were affected and will have to be dealt with for years to come. Our guys in Lafitte did a GREAT job of keeping the oil out of the marshes in our area.

Having said that, I can say with complete confidence that if you decide to come see us, WE WILL GO "CATCHIN", NOT FISHIN! The few folks that have come to "give it a try" have come in with some record catches.

As of now, we have 2 rooms with a total of 8 beds available, we will probably have more rooms come available by the end of September, or early October as things wind down here. We have 5 great guys for the weekends and 3 for the week days. If you are interested in coming down please give us a call and I'll give you the hard facts. And as always you know "I'll break your heart with the truth, but I'll never lie to you"!

All the guides, Ms Carla, Belinda and myself are ready to get back to what we do the best, catch fish, cook lots of great food and visit with all of our friends. Give us a call and lets do some "catchin"!
